How to Import Argus reports via Legacy Import option

This guide for any users who have been instructed by their Valcre representative to use the LEGACY METHOD of importing an Argus package or file. This also temporarily applies to any clients using our PPA (Price Per Allocation) module for ASC work. (PPA is currently in Beta testing and will available broadly as an add-on in the near future.)

  • Note: This method is being phased out and is only to be used when instructed to do so.
Step 1: Set up the Workbook to include Argus-DCF
  1. Set up your workbook following the steps on the Home sheet. When you reach Step 4: Select Modules for the set up, select Show All. This will open up all available modules beyond what's available in the drop-down.
  1. Locate the Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) dropdown and select Argus
Step 2: Import the Argus package or files
  1. In the Valuation Workbook, navigate to the DCF sheet and unhide the Argus legacy import rows on the left side of the workbook.
  1. Import Package: Select the first Import button and add your Argus package file
