What is Valcre Assist?

Valcre Assist is a white-glove research service built exclusively for Valcre users. Seasoned commercial real estate researchers handle front-end preparation work: property data, zoning, ownership history, comparable sales, and report templates; delivering everything directly into your Valcre account so your appraisers can focus on the opinion of value.

Is Valcre Assist an external vendor or part of the Valcre platform?

It's fully integrated, not outsourced. All deliverables: workbook templates, report drafts, supporting documents, and research files are saved directly within your Valcre job and linked to property records. There are no disconnected files or manual transfers.

Will Valcre Assist replace my appraisers?

No. Valcre Assist handles the time-intensive front-end groundwork. Your appraisers retain full control of the analysis, judgment, and final opinion of value. Think of it as expanding your team's capacity without adding headcount.

Who are the Valcre Assist researchers?

The team includes seasoned CRE researchers, not generic research staff. The current team includes a Research Manager and multiple Senior Researchers and Researchers with experience in commercial real estate data and appraisal workflows.

What's included

What specific tasks does Valcre Assist handle?

Valcre Assist covers three main areas: 

(1) Data collection and entry: property and site data, ownership and sales history, taxes, zoning, and demographics pulled from official public sources; 

(2) Report preparation:  initial template setup, data import, maps, drawings, and local area analysis;

(3) Complete delivery:  job records, property records, research files, and completed templates all saved into your Valcre job.

Can I reuse the research on future assignments?

Yes. Supporting research is attached to property records within Valcre and stays available for future reuse across subsequent assignments - saving time the next time you work on the same or a nearby property.

Do I need to provide due diligence documents upfront?

No. Prior appraisals, rent rolls, surveys, tax bills, and similar documents are welcome but never required. The team will work with whatever you have and supplement from public sources.

Getting started

How do I submit a job to Valcre Assist?

Fill out the intake form on the Valcre Assist page, our Assist Research Manager will contact you to discuss details and pricing. Once finalized, send your job details: an engagement letter or job summary works well. If you already have a Valcre job record, simply include the job number and the team will pick up from there.

Can I give specific instructions or data source preferences?

Absolutely. Include any specific directions or preferred data sources in your submission email. If you don't have preferences, the team follows proven standard workflows.

How involved do I need to be once a job is submitted?

That's up to you. You can be as hands-on or hands-off as you'd like. Provide detailed instructions upfront for more control, or rely on Valcre Assist's standard workflows for a fully hands-off experience.

Pricing & availability

Who can access Valcre Assist?

Valcre Assist is an add on service available to all Valcre subscription tiers. You need to be a Valcre customer to use this service.

Can I use Valcre Assist just for overflow, or does it have to be ongoing?

Both are supported. Valcre Assist scales to your volume: use it for occasional overflow during peak periods or build it into a recurring support workflow. There's no requirement for ongoing commitment.
