Valcre’s AI Comp Suggestions automatically identifies the most relevant comparable properties within Valcre’s Comp Set workflow. Built on an expansive database of verified comps and explainable AI scoring, it helps appraisers save hours of manual work and make confident, data-driven selections, all without leaving Valcre.
Current customers (with active contracts as of 4/1) will obtain access with their current subscription level and can choose to upgrade to Valcre + AI to maintain access at the contract renewal.
Access Comp Suggestions
Access Comp Suggestions from either place, depending on your workflow:
Option 1: Sets grid
Select Sets from the left side menu and open the desired comp set
Option 2: Job Record
Open a Job Record, select Comps from the top menu, and open the desired set.
Using Comp Suggestions
Top of the page: Your current Comp Set (the comps listed were comps you manually included in the set).
Below: A live list of Suggested Comps, ranked by relevance to the Subject Property and accompanied by a Similarity Score.
The UI makes it easy to compare what’s already in your set with the new suggestions so you don’t miss relevant sales.

Filter Suggested Comps
By default the filter is set to show confirmed comps, comps that match the subject property type, and are within 0-3 miles from the subject property.
Adjust the filters as appropriate to narrow the suggested list to reduce noise and help the model surface suggestions that best match your appraisal criteria:
Step 1: Select the Filter icon next to the Suggested Comps heading.
Step 2: Enter filter parameters (e.g., distance, sale date range, year built, etc).
Step 3: Select Apply to refresh the suggested list.
Add/Remove/Reorder Comps
Add a suggested comp: Hover over the comp number to the left of the comp and select the +to add a comp suggestion to your set.
Remove a comp from your set: Hover over the comp number in the set and select the X.
Reorder comps in your set: Drag and drop a comp to the desired position, or use the Sort Comps button at the top of the page to automatically sort by category.
All changes happen immediately in the Comp Set. Suggestions are never auto-added without your action.
View Comps in List vs Card view
Step 1: In the set, select the hamburger menu from the top menu. This will change your view to list view vs card view.
Your selection will persist across other sets until you change the view to cards.

A: Not right now. The model determines the weighting and is not user-editable at this time.

A: Valcre uses a proprietary formula and algorithm to surface your best comparable matches. The score takes that into consideration against your subject property to help you best prioritize potential missed comparables for your set.
Q: How can I be confident these suggestions are valid?
A: Treat suggestions as a safety net; they surface potentially relevant comps you might miss. You remain entirely in control to accept or ignore suggestions.
Q: Data privacy/sources: where do the comps come from?
A: Suggestions are built from your own database inside Valcre Online. It's your data.
