It is possible while copying in other workbooks/charts/data from other works books, such as Demo.xls, that you may get this error pop-up:

You may need to remove the links to the copied data by following the steps below:

1. Click Don't Update

2. Then go to File -> Info

3. Then Edit Links to Files

4. Select the files to be unlinked

5. Then click Break Link

If you are unable to remove the linked data in this way because the data is a named reference, you may need to follow these steps:

1. Click on Formulas

2. Click Name Manager

3. Click on the 'Refers To' column heading to sort

4. Find and select the name items linked to another workbook and delete them

These name items can generally be deleted safely without harm to your current workbook, but if you are worried about data loss, you should always make a backup copy of the current workbook before deleting any of the items.
