Hospitality: Using the Expense Comparable Sheet

This sheet contains the tables for the Expense Comparable data presentation.

This guide shows you how to use the Expense Comparable sheet in your Hospitality Workbook.

How-to Guide

Step 1: Access the Expense Comparable Data Presentation sheet

  • Select H_EXPCMP from the bottom menu.
  • You can present up to three expense comparables using this sheet.

Comparable Tables

Step 1: Identify each Expense Comparable's Room Count, Occupancy, and ADR.

  • Enter this information in the fields above each table

Pro-tip: If you will not be using a comparable table, set the Show/Hide dropdown to No to remove it from the Revenue and Expenses tables on the Revenue and Expenses sheets.

 

 

Step 2: Enter the Nominal dollar amount for each chart of accounts within each Comparable

Step 3: Describe the summary and call out anything that needs additional attention for the reader's understanding

Step 4: Add the tables to your Word report (if it has not already been added)

If these tables are not already in your report, use the link names below the table to add them by using the Insert Link feature.

Once you have completed all the necessary information in the Expense Comparable Datasheet, you can move on to the Revenue and Expenses sheets in the Hospitality Workbook.
