Hospitality: Using the STR Profitability Report Sheet

This sheet contains the tables that can be populated by importing STR Profitability Report data, and can be set up by Report Type, Property, and Category.

This guide shows you how to use the STR Profitability Report sheet in your Hospitality Workbook.

Step 1: Start by loading in your STR Profitability report by selecting Import

Step 2: Complete the dropdown fields above the table

  • Once you make selections for Report, Property, and Category, you will see the table populate with the data imported from the STR Profitability report
  • Make sure to select Yes for Show/Hide to include the information in the Revenue and Expense charts

 

Snag_60ad7b3.png Pro Tip: If you will not be using a STR Profitability table, set the Show/Hide dropdown to No to remove the row from the Revenue and Expense tables on the upcoming sheets. 

 

Step 3: Enter the $Room value for the Other Undistributed Expenses row in the table

 

Step 4: Repeat this process to set up the additional STR Profitability Report tables on this sheet

  • You can set up to 4 tables for different components of your STR Profitability Report

Step 5: Add these tables to your Report. 

If these tables are not already in your Report, use the link names below each table to insert them using the Insert Link feature in Valcre Ribbon. 

  • HMA_HostSTRComp
  • HMA_HostSTRComp2
  • HMA_HostSTRComp3
  • HMA_HostSTRComp4

 

Once you have completed all the necessary information in the STR Profitability Report sheet, you can move on to the Hotel Expense Comp Sheet for the Hospitality Workbook.
