Hospitality: Using the Cost Comparable Supplement

This sheet allows for additional analysis of your Cost Comparables. It is a summary of the Cost Comparables utilizing a perspective provided by a developer or a contractor based on brands. 

This table can be included in the report to bolster the Cost Approach, but it is optional and is not required for setup. The values in the table are sample data only and are to be overwritten with your own analysis.

How-to Guide

Step 1: Access the Cost Comparable Supplement sheet

  • Select MKTCOSTSUM from the bottom menu.

Comparable Cost Analysis Table

Step 1: Edit the yellow-shaded cells in the table based on the Cost Comparables used in your Cost Approach.

NOTE: The values in the table are sample data only and are to be overwritten with your own analysis. 
Step 2: Add a summary of your Cost Comparables in the field above the table

Step 3: Add this table to your Report. 

If this table is not already in your Report, use the link name below the table to insert it using the Insert Link feature in the Valcre Ribbon.

Once you have completed all the necessary information in the Cost Comparable Supplement sheet, you can move on to the Revenue and Expense Categories sheet for the Hospitality Workbook.
